Experience world cultures as one big, beautiful tapestry in a glorious setting, when Present Music offers a "Concert for Peace" this Thanksgiving at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. It features Native American, Gospel, Ukrainian, Muslim and Jewish traditions, and highlights MacArthur-winner Courtney Bryan's powerful call for unity against brutality. There will be a pre-concert talk at 4:00 with the conductor David Bloom, the Iranian composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh, and Michael Kropf, whose violin concerto based on Holocaust-era themes will be played by Sabrina Tabby.
